FINALLY DUTCH

Terms

Cohort one. Monday 5 October to Tuesday 3 November 2026. Amsterdam.

These are the conditions for a seat in Finally Dutch. You receive them before you pay. Paying for a seat means you accept them. They do not change during the cohort.

Plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask before you pay: hello@sirajraval.com.

1. Price

A seat costs EUR 199, including btw. That is the whole price. There is nothing else to pay.

The EUR 199 is two amounts in one:

Your seat is confirmed when the EUR 199 has landed. Seats are confirmed in the order payments arrive. Cohort one has ten seats.

2. What counts as a logged day

A day counts when both of these are true:

A day logged the next day does not count for the day before. The minutes are on your honor. The log is what gets counted.

The cohort runs 30 days, from Monday 5 October through Tuesday 3 November 2026. Each of those 30 days can be logged once.

3. The 27 of 30 threshold

You earn your deposit back by logging 27 of the 30 days. That leaves three days you can miss anywhere in the month, for any reason, without losing anything.

Whether you reach 27 depends only on your own logs. Nothing about it is decided by chance, by a vote, or by what anyone else in the group does. Everyone who reaches 27 gets their full deposit back, every time.

4. Deposit refund

If you log 27 of 30 days, the EUR 100 deposit comes back to you within 14 days after 3 November 2026, to the account you paid from. You do not need to ask for it.

Siraj holds the deposits in his own account for the length of the cohort and pays them out from that same account. He takes nothing from the deposits at any point.

5. Deposits that are not earned back

If you log fewer than 27 days, your EUR 100 deposit is not returned to you. It is not kept by Siraj either.

Every deposit that is not earned back is donated in full to a Dutch literacy charity. The intended recipient is Stichting Lezen en Schrijven. If that foundation cannot accept the donation, another Dutch literacy charity receives it and the group is told which one. The donation is made within 14 days after 3 November 2026, and the group receives confirmation of the total amount donated.

Siraj never retains any part of a deposit. The EUR 99 fee is the only money he keeps, whether you finish or not, so he has no reason to want anyone to fall short.

6. Canceling before the start

Change your mind at any point before the cohort starts on 5 October 2026 and you get the full EUR 199 back, fee and deposit, no questions asked. Send a message on WhatsApp or an email to hello@sirajraval.com. The refund goes to the account you paid from within 14 days.

From 5 October the EUR 99 fee is no longer refundable, except in the cooling-off case below. The EUR 100 deposit is earned back by logging 27 of 30 days.

7. Your 14-day cooling-off right

Under Dutch consumer law you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days are counted from the day after your payment lands and your seat is confirmed. This right applies on top of the cancellation rule above.

If your payment lands on or before Sunday 20 September 2026, your cooling-off period ends before the cohort starts, and the full refund in section 6 covers you anyway.

If your payment lands on or after Monday 21 September 2026, your cooling-off period runs into the cohort. Dutch law lets the program start for you inside that period only if you expressly ask for it. So, in the chat where you pay, Siraj asks you to confirm in writing that you want the program to start for you on 5 October inside your cooling-off period. If you have sent that confirmation and then withdraw inside those 14 days:

If you have not sent that confirmation, the program still starts for you on 5 October, but a withdrawal inside your cooling-off period is refunded in full, fee and deposit.

The refund goes to the account you paid from within 14 days of your withdrawal. To withdraw, send a clear message on WhatsApp or by email. No form is required. The statutory model withdrawal form is sent to you before you pay, and you may use it if you prefer.

8. Minimum group size

Cohort one runs with a minimum of six participants and a maximum of ten. If fewer than six seats are confirmed, the cohort does not run and everyone who paid gets the full EUR 199 back, to the account they paid from, within 14 days of that decision.

The decision whether the cohort runs is communicated to everyone who paid by 1 October 2026.

9. The Wednesday sessions

There are four in-person sessions of 60 minutes each, on Wednesday evenings 7, 14, 21 and 28 October 2026, at StartDock, next to Amsterdam Centraal.

The venue and the time are sent to you after payment, with your seat confirmation. Missing a Wednesday session does not affect your deposit. Only the daily logs count toward 27 of 30.

10. What other members can see

Finally Dutch runs in a WhatsApp group and on a shared sheet. Both are visible to the other members of the cohort, and to Siraj.

Joining the cohort is your consent to that. There is no version of the program without the group and the sheet. If you do not want that visibility, the way to opt out is not to join.

Siraj also holds your full name, your WhatsApp number, your email address if you used it, and the payment record. He uses them only to run the cohort, to pay deposits and refunds back, and for his bookkeeping. Dutch tax law requires the payment record to be kept for seven years. Nothing is shared outside the cohort, used for marketing, or published. The recordings you make on day zero and day thirty are yours, stay on your own phone, and are never shared unless you choose to play them in the group. After the cohort ends you can ask for your row on the sheet and your other details to be removed. You can ask at any time what he holds about you, at hello@sirajraval.com.

11. What is not promised

Finally Dutch is a daily routine, a group, and a deposit. It is not a course, not exam preparation, and not a guarantee of any level, certificate, or exam result. B1 is the level in the 2021 civic integration law; this program builds daily hours and promises nothing about the exam.

Siraj is not a teacher and does not teach grammar. His own B1 is a self-assessment against the CEFR description, without an exam or certificate.

12. Who runs this

Finally Dutch is conducted by Siraj Raval, Amsterdam. Questions, cancellations, withdrawals, and anything else: WhatsApp, or hello@sirajraval.com.

Before you pay, in the same chat as the payment link, you receive Siraj's full business details and the statutory model withdrawal form. They are not published on this page.

Dutch law applies. These terms are dated 16 September 2026 and apply to cohort one.
